freedom is the core of an independence. independence will not happen when freedom does not appear first. What is the essence of that freedom if freedom does not exist? These two things are something that should be mutually supportive
in an independent country, of course, freedom is a right that must be possessed by each individual country. but of course there must be clear limits to respect every freedom.
There must be freedom, but freedom must also be clear and respected by everyone. including freedom of expression. freedom of expression is the opportunity to explain all the capabilities that we possess in public without the intervention of several parties.
as humans we are given various talents and abilities given by god. already exists in us that we should channel the talents and abilities we have. we must supply them in accordance with the correct way. but not everyone has the freedom of expression. sometimes there are constraints that are not desired. freedom of expression, such as confined in the jail. no chance to show it.
although in an independent state. freedom of expression is still difficult to show. examples only, in our country, Indonesia, there are still many who do not yet have a chance of expression. many obstacles they face.
in our country the most problems they face are about the economy and education. some of the Indonesian population is still far from the economic establishment, which hamper their freedom of expression. smart but not a lot of students are economically. this is a restraint on freedom of expression to them. they can not continue school. how they can show their skills if they do not have a media broker?
as citizens, should we care about them. we care about freedom of expression that should be upheld in this country. we should be more sensitive to the circumstances around us, where there is a hidden opportunity of freedom.
